Tony Stewart special package !!!! >>> 3 hand
painted Tony Stewart sample helmets. The one on the left is a "red" sample.
The design is a crude preview of what his IRL Glidden helmet eventually
looked like. It is however, mistakenly molded out of the NASCAR helmet mold
with the NASCAR style visor. The helmet on the right is the "black/white"
sample. Almost the same design as the red one, but correctly molded in the
IRL helmet mold with the IRL style visor. The sponsor name painted on the
helmet front and sides is "SKOAL". Was Tony Stewart ever sponsored by them
at any point during his IRL days?

SCAN 2 The next helmet in this package is a
beautifully hand painted shell of what they wanted the Glidden helmet to
look like. It does NOT have his facsimile signature on the rear. The Tony
Stewart name on the side is bolder and larger than the final helmet sample.

The box top is labeled with the item#, driver name and "PREPROS 22, APR
1997".
SCAN 4 The fourth helmet is the Final Production Sample. The box top for
this helmet is labeled with the Container #, Item # and Year, Driver name
and Logo info.
SCAN 5 This Final Production Helmet is the one that was sent to the
driver, team owner, sponsor and vehicle manufacturer all for input and final
sign off approval before the retail production runs commenced, then returned
to the manufacturer. Therefore, yes, this helmet was touched and handled at
one point or another by Tony Stewart. There are no other proto's out there.
These ARE the originals! As a bonus to this incredible package, we will also
include one regular, retail completed version of his Glidden Helmet (plain

Chad Little special package !!!! >>> 1
beautifully hand painted Chad Little helmet. The label on the base reads "SWV/97-50
Chad Little (Revised) and is stamped 8 MAR 1997 when the helmet was received
back from the sponsor and approved. The label on the top of the box is
stamped 3 DEC 1996 when it was first painted. The next helmet in this
package is the Pre-Production Sample of what the final helmet would look
exactly like. The label on the top of the box says "Prepros 22 APR 1997" and
a separate sticker has written on it "LATER - MORE COMPLICATED DESIGN". The
third helmet is the Final Production Sample. The box top for this helmet is
labeled with the Container #, Item #and year, Driver name and Logo info.
SCAN 1 This Final Production helmet is the one that was sent to the driver, team
owner, sponsor and vehicle manufacturer all for input and final sign off
approval before the retail production runs commenced, then returned to the
manufacturer. Therefore, yes, this helmet was touched at one time or another

one of a kind sample! This helmet was made for Action Performance and retail
versions were packaged in Action packaging and labeling with the helmet insides
hollowed out behind the visor, which if lifted up, revealed rubber padding
on the inside of the helmet. This helmet is not hollowed out, but comes with
the standard Simpson non-hollowed out solid black base. The black base has
no label on it, since it was not intended to be a Simpson product. Comes in
the standard black Simpson box. |

Dale Earnhardt special package !!!! >>> We
have recently acquired these and others listed here on the site from the
original manufacturer of Simpson and later Action mini collectible helmets.
The owner of the company retired, moved to Florida and these are among
hundreds of helmets he had in storage at his son-in-laws for years. This is
a once in a lifetime dead serious opportunity for the true Dale Earnhardt
fan. These are original, one-of-a-kind in process prototypes, samples and
final production helmets before they went into retail production. This
package includes the following: 3 Dale Earnhardt GM Goodwrench "LX Black"
mini helmets The one on the left is an early Pre-Production Prototype
lacking the Simpson, Goodwrench or Union 76 logo's on the front. The
interior padding inside the helmet is only partially constructed. The label
on the back of the helmet points out that the "Racing" script below the
Goodwrench logo has color that is too faded and should be a brighter, deeper
red.
SCAN 1 This is corrected on the center and right side helmets. The center
Pre-Production helmet has the Simpson and Goodwrench logo's on the front on
a continuous wrap around clear sticker. The Union 76 logo's are missing. The
right side Final Production helmet has the Simpson and Goodwrench logo's on
the front on a continuous wrap around sticker. The Union 76 logo's are also
present.
SCAN 2 The final, retail version of this helmet has the Goodwrench logo on
the helmet hot stamped with two separate, non-continuous Simpson stickers.
Also included here is a Final Production Sample of Dale's Olympic Games
helmet. The outer top of the box is labeled from the factory with the
year/container#, item and year#, the name of the driver and the logo type.
SCAN 3 Next up in this package is a Final Production Sample of Dale's Silver
Winston helmet. The taped on paper (tape show's obvious age) reads: "Silver
Helmet Pre-Production Sample 11/21". The gold circular driver and sponsor
logo sticker is not on the right side of the outer box. The helmet is
missing the Goodwrench and Simpson logo's on the front which appear on the
regular retail versions.
SCAN 4 These Pre-Production and Final Production helmets
are the one's that were sent to the driver and his family, team owner,
sponsor and vehicle manufacturer all for input and final sign off before the
retail production runs commenced. Therefore, yes, these helmets were touched
at one point or another and handled by Dale, Teresa, Richard Childress, big
wigs at GM...etc. There are no other proto's out there. These ARE the
originals! As part of the package, we will also include Dale's retail
completed version of his Silver "Winston" helmet as well as a retail version
of the extremely rare, very seldom seen "Team USA" helmet.

PAINTED sample! The label on the helmet base reads: SH97-18, Robbie Buhl,
